FAWG employees and physicians recently honored Dr. Michael Schreck at a breakfast celebrating his Board Certification in Foot Surgery from the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

Dr. Alap Shah, who specializes in diabetes and diabetic wound care, addressed a group of 50 nurses and caretakers from Vista Care in March with a presentation on diabetes and diabetic complications for their patients.

After the meeting Foot and Ankle of West Ga hosted a breakfast for the attendees (served by part-time employee, Christen Bartley and Terry Hammond, Marketing Director). The gift basket was won by one of the Vista care nurses.

Congratulations to Dr. Shreck and his wife, Christy on the birth of their new daughter, Anna Marie, in February!

Louise Webster with Amanda Stelwack, front desk receptionist, Amanda won the employee contest by selling the most raffle tickets. She gets a full day off with pay.

Dr. Carter Hyneman's Visit to Harris County High School

Dr. Carter Hyneman spoke to health classes on podiatry as a career. He explained the educational requirements, medical school, and his residency program. He also discussed some of the typical podiatric conditions he sees at our office.
