Diabetes Awareness Month
This is an event sponsored by the Veranda Assisted Living and Foot and Ankle of West Ga in conjunction with Diabetes Awareness Month. Details are as follows:
DATE: Thursday, April 16th
PLACE: Veranda Assisted Living

Columbus, GA 31904
TIME: 10:00AM to 12:00PM
ACTIVITIES: Dr. Hyneman from Foot and Ankle of West Ga will be there to discuss diabetes & any problems. Patients can come and ask any questions they may have about diabetes or diabetic foot care. Acme Medical Supply will be there to discuss benefits of diabetic shoes & show you how to obtain them. Liberty Medical will be there with the latest technology in diabetic meters. Serenity Events will have representatives to give complimentary "mini" foot massages to encourage circulation.

Thank you to all who participated in our juvenile diabetes event on October 8th at St. Luke Ministry Center to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We were able to raise over $2,000.00 for juvenile diabetes and it was attended by over 250 people.
